ALLERGIES
All of our cakes are vegan and gluten free, however cross contamination may occur. Please notify me of any nut and other allergies you might have.
CANCELLATION & REFUND
The payment is non-refundable, it can be transferred to another event.
Once the order is approved and finalized, the cancellation policy is in effect.
PAYMENT
All payments are due 7 days prior to pickup, if payments are not made by the time of pickup, the cake may be cancelled.
ORDERING
It’s advised to place your order at least 7 days in advance of the pick up date.
Every cake and decorations are made by hand, you may send an image for inspiration; however, I don’t offer exact duplicates of work done by other bakers.
You may have a change of heart regarding the size and flavors of your cake, if that’s the case you have 4 days prior to the pick up time to inform me. I cannot guarantee any changes to the design, size or flavors if this demand isn’t expressed within this 4 days time-frame. An option would be to add mini cakes to your order in case you need to serve more guests.
Once the details of the order are finalized, I will send you an email for your review and approval. Once the order is confirmed, I will email you an invoice.
PICK UP
Once you have picked up your cake, sogobri cannot be held liable for any damage or failure that may occur once the cake leaves the premises or during transport, handling, set up or display. Once you have the cake, it is your responsibility to transport it directly to the event venue and not leave it unattended in your vehicle or anywhere outside.
TRANSPORT & TEMPERATURE
- It’s advised you prepare your vehicle so it is clean and free of items that could roll or slide into the cake.
- I do everything in my power to provide a well-structured cake, but please note that cakes are very fragile and break easily, take extreme caution, drive carefully and slowly, keeping the vehicle level at all times, especially when turning corners, and avoid any sudden acceleration, cornering or aggressive braking.
- You can place your cake in the floorboard of a car.
- In no case should a cake be transported on a vehicle seat, nor on someone’s knee or lap.
- On hot days, it is imperative that your car have working air conditioning. Please run it before your pickup until your car’s interior is cool.
- Upon arrival at the event venue, be sure to set up the cake in a cool display area away from sunlight (and away from anywhere sunlight might move to).
- Your cake must remain in the fridge, it’s best to take it out 5mn before cutting into it.
